Take Up the White Girl’s Burden, by Alzati Prometeo

White girl saves the world

Take up the White Girl’s burden—
Send forth most offended ye breed—
Go bind your daughters to exile
To stop Patriarchy’s greed;
To wait in all world’s Starbucks,
On male-centered folk and wild—
The oppressive, religious peoples,
To be castrated as child.

Take up the White Girl’s burden—
In all the world’s villages,
To show the threat of rape
And check all privileges;
By forbidding speech and culture,
An hundred times make plain
That all man are but vultures,
That steal all womyn’s gain.

Take up the White Girl’s burden—
The savage folks of man—
will know how bad the oppression
of Jessica, Samantha and Anne;
And when your goal is nearest
The end for Womyn sought,
Watch sloth and male Folly
Bring all your hopes to nought.

Take up the White Girl’s burden—
No tawdry rule of kings,
But toil of serf and sweeper—
Shall be all man’s things.
The jobs ye shall not enter,
The opportunities ye shall not tread,
They are due to Patryarchy’s center,
Women’s responsibility dead.

Take up the White Girl’s burden—
And reap her old reward:
A Gender Studies Major,
For a barista always bored—
The cry of men ye humour
in all ye posts on Tumblr:—
“Cry more, fedora” ye rumor
And men shall be more humble.
